Hi Stig,

I suspect the the clerk was only reporting the info he got from the unit (V./KG 2) and they may have had only the numbers on the tail.

Yes I suppose that must be correct, but why only the Me 410?

Are there other aircraft treated the same way?

I guess such things get lost in the mists of time and fog of war. Frustrating but we are unlikely to know the correct story
