Most interesting. The mid-upper who was killed was Sgt John McAuley and the Halifax so badly damaged that the crew baled out after crossing the East Anglian Coast and crashed near Stock in Essex. The Ju 88C-6 Glasgow possibly shot down was flown by Hptm Herbert Boensch Gr Kdr III./NJG 2 which then crashed at Pootugaal 0125hrs killing him and his crew
