I don't have a copy myself, but I would think there should be good coverage (if only from the Soviet side) in Alexander Pokryshkin's biography. Recently translated from Russian by juan Fraile-Nuez, titled "Know yourself in combat".

Nuez- notoriously known on Amazon for producing AI books. Possibly he just used the translation tool to make it from Russian to English...but I would doubt the correctness of the translation.
