Re: Bf 109 hangars !!
Hello-
These hangers appear as though they are made to look like houses from the air. I imagine it would be much harder for an enemy aircraft to spot them from the sky this way. Is this the intention? -Eric Zemper |
Re: Bf 109 hangars !!
Hi again,
I cannot send the images where I sit now, but I promise to post them tomorrow. PS! Do u use msn-messenger ?? Regards, Jagdkommando |
After the Bf 109 hangars come the Bf 110 hangars...
These ones are located on Merville airfield in North of France. There is also a extremely rare wooden shack for a single engine fighter...
These photos have been taken by Laurent Bailleul, and I can only advise you to visit his website http://l.bailleul.free.fr which deals with V1 launching sites and airfields in North of France. The site is only at its beginnings as far as the airfields are concerned, but the goal is to make it a kind of reference for them! Cordially, JVM |

Re: Bf 109 hangars !!
Hello Jagd!
Is Lille-Rygge airfield the modern one for the Norwegian AF at Rygge? If so, I did not see any trace on GoogleEarth of a Luftwaffe airbase there ...and consequently no hangar! Where are they located? Lat/Lon would be fine... cordially, JVM |
