Perhaps the error lies with the printer. A recent find in a box full of books where I work was an extra cover.

Aside from that, there was the case where one book had the cover attached upside down.

We have yet to start it outside of accumulating the information into a usuable format . It takes us about two years a Volume - and that is a very rough estimate.

I received my copy.
According Grub Street:vol.5 =600 pages

Surprise!bad!,only 450 non-index pages!!...and 76 US $.,65 €... Find the mistake!

Did you obtain a hard back copy, or a PDF?

Where did you purchase your copy of MAW5? We did prepare internally a PDF of MAW5 without an index, which allowed us to build the index with the proper page numbers.

My hard-cover copy has 526 numbered pages, incl. full index.

For the same price,the previous vol.(5) has 638 pages,not counting the index pages.

A big difference (450 not counting the index pages (75),when it's announced 600 p.

I purchased this book in June 2019, but have only just begun to read it. The work is superb with fine quality printing and photographs. However by the time l reached page 145 the pages began to come away from the binding add hardcovers. . Now each pages comes out of the binding as l turn it over, Loose pages are now nearly impossible to keep in order. Sadly the binding used was clearly never fit for .purpose.
