Joel/Bertrand

Fascinating!!
I can to a certain degree understand Joel's ID since the digits 14 and the markings of GC I/3 can be seen, but
how on earth Bertrand do you nail yours???

Is it possibly the odd placement of the roundel or something else?

Amazing
Cheers

Hi Stig,

As I know you have -or would like to have - all the LELA press books, check page 152 of Le GC III/3 en 1939-1940, condors et pirates au combat.
(Collection Histoire des Unités n°13) book that I wrote with Bernard Philippe ; you will have three photos of this D.520....

Re: eBay: Allied intrest

Aha Bertrand :)

Yes you are right, I try and get as many of the LELA Presse books as possible, but I have concentrated
on aircraft types, so no unit histories for me.
As I see it I would need to be far more fluent in French than I am, meaning they would be more or less
wasted on me....unfortunately.

Fantastic memory as well Bertrand to remember where you have seen it.

I very much enjoy your expertise :)

Cheers
Stig

Re: eBay: Allied intrest

Faenor. Think you are right; flown by Cazenove (POW), 92 still used "GR" codes. Should it be 24th ? ....2 close serials lost on 23rd.
