Noticing the rear STKZ or VKz letters "??+NK", it is possible we have here one of NAGr. Bromberg machines as found at Bayreuth-Bindlach by the US Army, after 19 April 1945. So far "N5+DK", N5+EK" and N5+UK" are documented photographically, the first two being found at Bayreuth. This possibility remains to be confirmed though. Cheers Marc |

Marc, With an early canopy and Emil wing ? The tailplane strut is visible, on ground and still linked to the rear fuselage. Note, too, the Lorraine cross drawn inside a V, painted two times on the visible wing. Note, too, the early crosses on wing and on fuselage. Since the octane triangle isn't visible on fuselage top, this is most probably a Jumo engined Bf 109. The expired auction in attachment. Franck. |
