Ed, the third machine is also a "TS+MB"; the right lower part of the "B" was over painted at one point ;)

Everybody knows now this is Ju 290 A-1 (no dot used).

290 0110154 Ju 290 A-1 [SB+QD] Luftwaffe
[Military Transport mfd 1943] ff 09.02.1943 - assigned J4+AH 1./LTS 290 (Italy) Based at Grosseto from April 1943 -
- Ju 290 Transp.St. 290
(Transport Mediterranean-Afrika) Non-OPS (H) struck ground (50% Er) {landing at night at the edge of Sidi Achmed Airfield} at Bizerta [Tunisia] 01.05.1943 (Hptm. Vogel and crew uninjured)

Kaiyan 12th May 2018 08:19

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Hi, The reason I posted about the 290 (dot or no dot) is because that in every pic i have or have seen of +AH the rudders are all attached, in the film clip it is not, OK it may have been damaged whilst being moved around, also the J of the J4+ part of the code is clearly visible against the light colour band. here it is not visible I though that maybe this is a second aircraft as I do not have a complete list of all 290's lost in North Africa.
