Hello Snautzer,

First, let me again thank you for all the work you put into finding these photos.

Regarding: JU88 Schrage Music ??+PP http://www.ebay.com/itm/Org-Photo-US...UAAOSwhMFZqhk4,
I believe that it is a new view of night fighter Ju 88 G-6 (622126) coded 4R+PP (markings in gray), late of 6./II./ NJG2. My notes indicate that was found crashed in a farmer’s field near Fl.Horst Illesheim.

The only slight hesitation I have with my identification is because I have photos of it where it is turned upside down. However, because I see the same trees in the background of several of my photos, I think that this is just the result of the passage of time.

Respectfully,

Steve Sheflin

I dunno Steve. The rudder looks pretty good for a plane that's been upside down.
Cheers

I have saved pic of other side, same wreck - still upright, photo marked 4R+PP 622126
from BattleGroundWrecks.com but I do remember another set of photos of plane +PP but yet to find that again.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Hello Peter,

I didn’t elucidate well. I believe it was upright to begin with then later flipped over.

As always, I don’t want to sound dogmatic about any of this.

Respectfully,

Steve Sheflin

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Hey, that's OK. No problem Steve.
I thought that may have been possible, but it just seemed odd to me that it would have been upright and then flipped over, rather that the other way round.
Cheers
Peter
