Troy, the splinter camouflage is nonsense. It was first published some years ago in the He 162 book by Peter Müller. He didn't realise that the photographs of 120076 he used as reference, showed the plane after it was "restored" in Canada.

I’ve been searching for months for a reference photo. Seriously. The post war photographs of the upper Wings are basically RAF markings over painted and then fictitious Luftwaffe markings reapplied. I also have the Mueller book and it also had me going in a endless search for nothing. I appreciate the response.
