Re: German docs in TSAMO
Just some random pages from different LW documents.

Re: German docs in TSAMO
Thanks for those, Jörn - I will have to set some time aside (several months!) to work my way through the Armeekorps folders and files, as there appears to be enough there to justify it.

Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hi Larry.
Yes there are a lot of LW related materiel in those too. But it's hard work to get it, as you have to download one page at a time Jörn |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hi,
Some (or perhaps all) pages of the files in Findbuch 12452 can be downloaded (page by page). As example here the link to the first page of file 623 : http://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/pages/285061/zooms/8 The next page be downloaded by changing the nr 285061 to 285062 http://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/pages/285062/zooms/8 This procedure can be applied to download all the pages, but it is very time consuming. Best regards Luc |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Anyone knows when 12452 will be released properly?

Re: German docs in TSAMO
The leftmost document in the post by Jörn (ju55dk) above originates from a file of the Finnish War Archive requested by the Allied (Soviet) Control Commission in Finland 1944-1945! The document is a letter sent by the Luftwaffe
Liaison Office in Finland to the Finnish Air Force HQ, and all hand- written comments are in Finnish, written by officers in various HQ departments. The ACC requested a big number of files related to Finnish-German miltary kooperation in 1941-1944, and as no copies exist, this CAMO material is extremely interesting and valuable. What is the exact CAMO reference - how can I find the entire CAMO collection with accompaniyng documents? |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hello Carl-Fredrik,
Apple16, forum member of vif2ne.ru, has uploaded probably all files from Findbuch 12452 placed on TsAMO's website up to date: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:7492213057AE3E8B7AB2532298C755 A38B9CCF92&tr=http%3A%2F%2Fbt3.t-ru.org%2Fann%3Fmagnet&dn=%D0%A6%D0%90%D0%9C%D0%9E% 20-%20%D0%A4%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B4%20500%20(%D1%82%D1%80% D0%BE%D1%84%D0%B5%D0%B9%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B5%20%D0%BD %D0%B5%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%86%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B5%20%D0%B 4%D0%BE%D0%BA%D1%83%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%82%D1%8B) %20%D0%9E%D0%BF%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%8C%2012452%20%D0%A7 %D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8C%201%20%D0%B8%D0%B7%202%20 %5B1937-1945%2C%20PDF%2C%20DEU%5D Attention! 34 Gigabytes Some of very interesting folders are absent on the website yet. Many of uploaded files aren't interesting (for me at least), but anyway quite a number of invaluable files are available. Best regards, Andrey |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hi Andrey.
The link does'nt go anywere? Junker |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
I would be very happy if someone could provide a link to (at least one of) the "Finnish" folders of CAMO...

You should have some torrent program on your PC. Most of them are free, uTorrent for example. Best regards, Andrey |

Hi Andrey.
I will try that. Thank's a lot. Junker |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Andrey,
Many thanks for the Torrent information. Tried using Vuze and received "Error : no sources found for torrent" so will try again later. Many thanks |

Hello Carl-Fredrik,

Akten 523-525 from Findbuch 12452 are certainly interesting for you. 1200+ pages. You can download exactly these Akten (and not all 34 GB, if you don't want to load all info) from the link above (post #90) Best regards, Andrey |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hello again Carl-Fredrik,
Akten 448-450 also - Lfl.5, 1700 pages Best regards, Andrey |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
It appears that the Project discriminates regarding what is available to the public. For example, when I go to http://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/d.../1-bestand-500,
My choices are Findbücher 12450, 12451, 12454, 12467, 12472, 12474, 12480 and 12487. That's all. Yet the rest of you here are using 12452. Do we have to pay to see that one? Where are we to send our checks (cheques) to? L. |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hello Larry,
Quote:
12452 (not whole but most of the Akten) is uploaded on the website but up to date invisible for the users due to unknown for me reason. But with some difficulties it maybe downloaded. The result is in the link on post #90. I have checked it again now - it works (now from the 2nd attempt - maybe overload or so on). Quote:
I hope you don't want to offend me. It is free. Believing in the info sharing etc. Bests regards, Andrey |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Please try that one:
http://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/pages/282784/zooms/8 and change one by one from 282784 to 283064. :-) |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Andrey: I am not trying to offend you or anyone else. I greatly appreciate you being here to help dummies like me. I get sarcastic when I get very, very frustrated as I am right now.
Bubek: I have no idea what that link is supposed to be. I went there and found a hand-written Russia archives card with no navigation tools, nothing that would allow me to go forward or backward. So that's enough for me. L. |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hello Larry,
enter the link of card. Now look at the top in youre browser. It will show this http://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/pages/282789/zooms/8 Replace or change didget of 282789 to 282790 . And repeat untill it runs out. Then the docs will appear. |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Thank you Snautzer! Document 282789-282790 is an extract of LFl 5 daily report 2812.1941, made by Capt. Jorma Sarvanto (famous Winter War ace, who downed six DB-3 bombers in five minutes 6.1.1940). Sarvanto was Head of Operations Dept of Finnish AF HQ in autumn 1941. His document is read and signed "JFLst" by the CO FiAF General J.F. Lundqvist, and is thus entirely an internal Finnish document!
My question: What is the name of this mysterious folder 12452, and what is the name of the file with this Finnish document? Is there a list of contents of folder 12452? Like Larry I am still waiting for a simple and easily understandable description how to access folder 12452 (I am no computer specialist...) |

Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hello Andrey
First of all: many thanks for sharing the much appreciated info ! When I saw your link to the uploaded files, I installed uTorrent, used the option 'add torent from URL' and copied the complete magnet:?xt=urn:btih:7492213057AE3E8B7AB2532298C755 A38B9CCF92&tr=http%3A%2F%2Fbt3.t-ru.org%2Fann%3Fmagnet&dn=%D0%A6%D0%90%D0%9C%D0%9E% etc. etc. into it. Unfortunately, each new attempt gives an error: uTorrent cannot load this... Perhaps you have another way of access to these files? Best regards and warm greetings from Venlo, the Netherlands, Marcel |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Hello Marcel,
the link works, but one has to do some modifications. I tried to save the link without the spaces here, but it did not work. Looks like an bug. One has to copy the link into an editor and delete the spaces between the numbers. The whole link has to be without any spaces. This modified should work with Torrent. Regards Dirk |

The list in this pdf-file contains an inappreciable part of the avalable files. Among the available Akten, for example: Bestand 12452 Akten 159-172 - Lageberichte OKL (part of 1941); valuable Akten 523-525 and 448-450 with reports of Lfl1 and Lfl5 etc etc. Best regards, Andrey |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Andrey,
Many thanks - I can confirm that with Matti's edited link that I have now downloaded all of the files via utorrent. |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
According to the website the project will be finished in 2018.

Re: German docs in TSAMO
Andrey & Jörn:
2018? This year? All of the remaining record groups (Fonds) and files on that list? I think that must have been an optimistic target date that they set back in 2015. But let's hope I'm wrong. The material completed to date appears to be just 10% to 15% of the total, but that's just a guess. L. |

Forum member apple16 of vif2ne.org forum has uploaded part of Findbuch 12453 OKM. Magnet link is in the attachment
|
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Andrei,
Many thanks for the OKM Magnet link, its working fine from here. Are you aware if there are any Magnet Links for for Findbuch 12472 and Findbuch 12474. Many thanks |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Andy,
No, I am not aware of such links for 12472 and 12474. I am too would be interested in torrent links for these documents as looking through them page by page on the website is highly time consuming process. |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Andrei,
Yes, that is exactly what I have been doing. However, at least hidden in the AOK files are some interesting Luftwaffe orientated items so I will carry on. Many thanks once again for sharing the OKM Magnet link. |
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Yippie! I have now been able to load down the entire 12452 folder (Luftwaffe), and now the Kriegsmarine folder (12453) is under way! Thanks for private advise - especially to Andrus!
|
Re: German docs in TSAMO
Yes the link to KM records is also working. Now I have to wait for 18 hours to read them too.
