Probably used a friendly chase plane all the time.

This is an AACr (Fw 190 copy built in France late 1944) It shows No 2 (an A-6 copy) after its crash at 09.45H 28 Aug 1945 when CEV pilot Lt Pierre Decroo failed to take off. Listed as an undercarriage failure. For those who then say surely it is a NC 900, yes that is correct too, but before the French industry got fully structured and SNCAC took control, the type was known as the AACr as can be seen on the fin.
