Hi Steve, 100% Sure ? It is marked "+ 22" on both sides, reading it from left to right when facing the side, whatever the side. Hi Roger, As for the "print made from old auction" Well, try it, it was such blurred and distorted that I wonder how he made it. Regards, Franck. |

Ju 88 G-6 W.Nr. 621049 (I think), +FN, after some software adjustments. Interesting that only the wing tips and leading and trailing edges are camouflaged.

I don't imagine that shortage at war end was so deep :D Rémi |

It depends on how it was to be concealed.

Hi Franck,
It is good to hear from you again. Post #3401 - I am in no way meaning to niggle, but please clarify how Balkenkreuz 22 is the same as 22 Balkenkreuz? My only point was that the aircraft identification numeral was applied differently on each side. Respectfully, Steve Sheflin |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
A picture exists, showing this plane on the starboard with +22. The plane is very far with an Arado Ar 96 in the foreground with a very special camouflage without crosses and without swastika but with a non-readed number red or black with white lines. I don't know where this picture was taken.
