Well, I like point to you that I too have MAAF lists and RAF CEA Lists -
I have tried point out errors before but some seem not noticing ???

No 259 (is based on MAAF and has same mistakes) but I have worked out some
(verified them "by eliminating" be others of same last three or four),
some on your list are still incomplete numbers, like the one pointed out in post #338,
also Ju 188 041 was most probably 150041 etc.

There are certainly earlier and later versions of those reports and errors did indeed creep into some of them. This was particularly noticeable in some of the reports from mainland Italy regarding Cr. 42s of NSG 9. Other "mistakes" are probably attributable to the condition of the wreckage under examination.

Because my aim when I started work on the campaign (circa 1995–96) and then the web pages (2004) was to reproduce what was in the original reports and add any later comments as "footnotes" in the white boxes. I may return to Operation Dragoon one day, if I find some promising sources, but I've been kind of busy with other events in France for some time.

Yes, I know. That too. Need I point to this again, it falls under ... "I've been kind of busy with other events in France for some time"

the S-1 140700 errors still stands, despite triple explained/commented on. You comment to others but not this. I do not see any notes or comment in any white field.

Well?

For those wishing compare Mr. Beale list and CEA (based on MAAF Tech reports), here is part of primary source document, CEA No. 259 P.4 (apparently not from Microfilm)

Well what? As and when I get back to 6.(F)/123, I'll certainly bear your point in mind. However, the entire point of my website is to write about what I want to, when I want to and my attentions are elsewhere right now.

"Well what?" Like in Iceland "Well" (general term "jćja" - no purposeful meaning, but "thats enough, coffee brake is over" etc. comes close) but generally falls into "folks, move along, nothing to see" category.

Last part of your comment after "However ... has nothing to do with me
or this forum, I belive.
