1. "Heaven can wait" B-17F 42-5997 EP-L 100BG missing 30/12/43 on Mission 169 to Ludwigshafen, crashed in France. MACR 2019. 3. "The Jolly Roger" B-17F 42-5886 385BG missing 17/8/43 on Regensburg shuttle mission no.84 to N. Africa. Crashed Dutch/Belgium border (?). 4. "Screaming eagle" B-17G 44-8007 JD-Z 384BG (survived); Production Batch nos. on nose P39/12 plus last 3 numbers of serial. Black outlined triangle "P" on tail with "2" for 545BS. 5. P-51D 44-64153, 4FG. ex-Fred Glover VF-P in July 1945 decorated for a post-war exhibition under the Eiffel Tower in Paris; had "Reggies Reply" on right side for John Godfrey's brother killed in N. Africa. The B-17G is 42-107180 "The Eagles Wrath" / "Lucky Rebel" as GL-K (repeated under left wing), 94BG with yellow tail and red band. 2. Don't know but looks like N. Africa (Twelfth AF).
