Additionally, evidence from Flugbücher shows this aircraft was 4R+EP flown by Ofw. Robert Lüddeke on the night of 13-14 February 1945, with his crew of Fw. Ulrich Hess and Kurt Wacker. Ofw. Lüddeke took off from Fl. Pl. Mainz-Finthen at 20.55 hrs on 13 February, and crash-landed at the same airfield at 00.32 hrs on 14 February. The crash-landing resulted in the 20% airframe damage recorded in the Genst.Gen.Qu.6.Abt return. |
