(photo 4). B-25C 41-13092 "El Raunch" 381BS/310BG Tunisia-Algeria 1943. Usual pilot 2/Lt. R.W. Therrien. Salvaged 14 Sept. 44. Doolittle again, not too happy, maybe a duff engine. Others in the Sqn. at this time were........ "Green Hornet", "Lorelei", "Taboo", "Punjab", "Lil Joe", "Lottie's Goose", "Balls of fire". Group marking originally yellow horizontal tail band, later squadron colour band added below (yellow in 381st). Note Inglewood factory colour division. Regards Nick |
