Me262A-1a/U3 W.Nr. 500539 "Weisse 33", Lechfeld.

The original photo was made by Technician Fourth Grade Rayford Alexander, who was a surgical technician in the medical detachment of the 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division in the European Theater of Operations.

Notice the way how the original photo has been resized - cutting thus out the "WWII" watermark.

Original source: photo given by Karen E. Alexander to the Collection of The National WWII Museu, accession number 2010.275.098 via https://www.ww2online.org/.../crashe...hmitt-me-262-2
