Post #3750 – Thanks for your hard work. These are a nice find of a new-to-me Fi 156 C or D marked, I believe, 4N+XI or 4N+XL. I sure wish sellers could/would add any US unit identifications or location details.

Hello Steve, some if the seller’s recent photos were taken at Braunschweig. So, the Fi 156 may also have been found there. Regards, Roger

That Bf 109 has 4889 stencilled on the rear fuselage, as well as a replacement cowling and what looks like (maybe) a yellow wingtip.

Post #3754 - Unless I am mistaken, this is Bf 109 K-4 (WNr. 334889) found abandoned at Fl.Horst Göttingen after 45-04-18.
