Hi Nick,
Cannot see the details in the link you kindly provided. Cannot get past trying to prove that I am human :( It seems that I am a "Bot" whatever that is ? |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Hi Alex do you mean the Dutch DC-2 link? The verification should go off in about 4 secs.
For the record KLM named them after birds using the last letter where possible ie..... PH-AKN "Nachtegaal" nightingale PH-AJU "Uiver" stork PH-AKT "Toekan" toucan PH-ALO "Oehoe" eagle owl PH-ARE "Emoe" emu PH-ALR "Reiger" heron PH-AKI "Kievit" lapwing (no "I" so used K). PH-AKR "Rietvink" reed-finch PH-AKQ "Kwak" (no "Q" so used K = duck sound). PH-AKM "Maraboe" marabou PH-AKO "Oeverzwaluw" sand martin PH-AKS "Sperwer" sparrowhawk PH-AKP "Perkoetoet" zebra dove PH-AKJ "Jan van Gent" gannet PH-AKG "Gaai" Eurasian jay PH-AKL "Lijster" thrush PH-AKK "Koetilang" sooty Bulbul PH-AKH "Haan" hen PH-ALD "Djalak" starling PH-ALE "Edelvalk" lanner falcon PH-ALF "Flamingo" flamingo I think this is all their DC-2s.
