Regarding Schoenert's victories, I was only referring to claims that he made, not the "validity" of such.

I´m very curious about victories for the Fw 189 and Fw 58. Konter with the Fw 58 and Scheer on the Fw 189?

The top scorer in this type is more likely Rudolf Schoenert. He made at least 27 of his 65 total claims with the Do-217. 25 of these night victories were scored in Russia with I/NJG 100,while the other 2 were acheived in the west.

thanks for your figures which fit well: 25 NJG100 kills in a Do 217, 6 NJG100 kills in a Ju 88.
Can you tell me which two of Schoenert's Western Front kills were scored in a Do 217 ?

The serial of F/Sgt Pridgeon's Lancaster was definitely "W4956". W4756 fell within a black-out block. W4956 was on it's 1st op, it only had 13.00 hours up on the clock.

The No.460 Sqn RAAF ORB F.540 (p.401 of 965), correctly identifies the Lancaster as W4956, but the F.541 (p.437 of 965), incorrectly refers to it as, W4966. Whatever the coding (AR or UV), the individual letter was "J".
