Re: Heinkel HD38 Photo?
One that can probably be ruled out quickly is D-IFIL.
According to: http://www.airhistory.org.uk/gy/reg_D-a12.html it was an He45, but there is a note "also reported as HD38" |
Re: Heinkel HD38 Photo?
I have no way of verifying what D-IFIL was myself, except that it sounds a bit like a mistake somewhere with the already known D-IPIL (see post 7 to 9)
Oddly enough D-IPIL is nowhere to be seen, either in Golden Years or the civil registration created by Peter Gogh, even though it seemingly was carried by three different aircraft. Gerhard even comes up with a WNr for one them. Puzzling Cheers Stig |
Re: Heinkel HD38 Photo?
Hello Moderator,
If you check earlier in this thread you will observe that I thank Nick Beale for moving this thread from the interwar board to the Luftwaffe board. Sorry, I don't know who is moderating at the moment or I would address you by off board and by name. But my key point is that you do not seem to have been informed by Nick that he was ok with moving this thread. Could you please return it to the Luftwaffe board. Regards, Clint |
