Re: eBay: German intrest
I usually don't give a toss about the prices some sellers wants, but is anyone here
willing to spend EUR 399 for photo number 11? :D I can vaguely see claims on the rudder, but really?? Either the seller is crazy or I must be missing something extremely relevant :( Cheers Stig |
Re: eBay: German intrest
Stig,
Most people don't like hearing this but here it is: "It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it." And if the seller gets his asking price, so what? I've grown tired of hearing complaints that this or that photo went for the "ridiculous" price of XYZ Euros. Buyers don't just consist of specialists or people with above average knowledge. I've seen photos that had nothing special about them get bids. I help run an eBay store for a friend. Before putting up one of his collectibles, I check for recent sale prices, and current asking prices. The asking prices can vary by $100 or more. |

However I am more interested in if someone can add anything useful to the photo in question. I am all ears why either an idiot (or perhaps genius?) would pay that much for so little. Cheers Stig |

I'm posting this message simply to reset the indentation of the posts in this thread. The deep nesting of all the replies makes it difficult to archive the thread when viewed in Threaded or Hybrid mode.
