Re: Texas History Photo Collection
Gentlemen,
Hs 129 141407 and 147374 (141374?) were found at Frankfurt-Rebstock a/f. Source is the US-Air Technical Intelligence Report. Regards, Heuser |
Re: Texas History Photo Collection
Heuser, thank you very much for this confirmation, very appreciated! I also just checked my photos again - and indeed all these photos I mentioned do show the same plane. I also solved the mystery of PH+UQ and PH+UC, which evolved around the visible, partial Stammkennzeichen "+H-U+C" on the wing undersides of 141407: Part of the "Q" (and also the "P") is covered by a yellow wingtip! This was very hard to recognize. So we have Werknummer 141407, PH+UQ at Frankfurt-Rebstock. Good to finally solve this puzzle.
Cheers, Christian |

Re: Texas History Photo Collection
Hi ! Happy to be back after one busy year :)
about post#45 Ju-87: '+D' in the background is a Ju-87G from 10.(Pz)/SG2 and '+G' had no reason not to be from the same unit. They are pictured at München-Riem with Fw190F from I./SG2 :) |
Re: Texas History Photo Collection
That's a Hs 129, not a Me 262 !
