Very much taking on board your comments about the problem with numerals 3 & 5 I believe you may well be correct with 6379. Having said that I do have some Spad S.XI serials in the 65** range as well as 63**. Regards, Clint |

Currently on ebay there is a photo of a crashed Spad of, I believe, SPA.98 at: https://www.ebay.de/itm/185218835487...EAAOSw2OJhvOym As far as I'm aware all the usual areas allowing a differention of the type of Spad shown are not visible in this photo.I cant tell whether its a Spad S.VII or Spad S.XIII.Can anyone identify the type of aircraft shown?
