Re: KG 40 Combat History
ED,
I confirm that the US Postal Services taxes are amongst the most expensive I have seen (the other one being Holland). Last time I purchased a photograph in the USA, they charged me US$ 15 bucks to send it to Brazil....more than the image itself. Last time I purchased an image from Germany, 10 Euros with shipping fees, the Brazilian Custom Office charged me 60% plus other taxes (totalling 30 Euros) for setting the image free, saying am Importing foreign products! World is getting crazy nowadays and everyone wants to bite their amount...we, at the end of the chain, we do pay the prices, sadly. |

Well done Chris. Surely another wonderful book of yours.
Happy to know that ALL losses were inserted. Most welcomed for most of us. A. |
Re: KG 40 Combat History
Well done Chris - a must buy for me. Don't know which I am more excited about - the KG54 Vol 2 history or this one! Given yours is in english rather than French I might give you the benefit of the doubt on this occasion..... ;)

Re: KG 40 Combat History
Hi guys - a quick update.
The book layout is done. I'm proof-reading, and finishing off translating the loss list from German to English. Once that's done (I'm 80% there) I'll send it to Chris for final approval along with any other issues. We can then get the list inserted into the appendices, and hopefully we'll be ready to go. I'm aiming to get the book in shops / on my website / at distributors by early to mid February. thanks and Merry Christmas / Happy New Year Rich |
