#2401 : In negative we read P2758 or P2759 Roba gives P2758 lost with sgt Luck (pow) over Dordrecht 11 may 1940 and Air Britain nothing as for P2759 both "lost in France" |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Yes indeed, the photo is not conclusive to me.
Are there any further details about the loss of Sgt Luck? I can't seem to find out whether he force-landed or baled out. if it was the latter, then the case is probably solved... |

Hi all,
......what is this type? Some French - looks like smaller version of Caudron C440: https://www.ebay.de/itm/285011119384...UAAOSwsD1jVA95 https://www.ebay.de/itm/285011118372...gAAOSw~0JjVA8w https://www.ebay.de/itm/285011115725...QAAOSwgnpjVA79 Faenor |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
That is the little known Gotha 150.
Does anyone know exactly how many that were built? Wiki suggests 12.....while another internet site lists some 21 civil registrations (which I haven't checked in detail) One WNr gets listed. Cheers Stig |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Post 2406 shows Hampden P4324 of 61 Sqn. Plenty of background in other threads:

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Thanks Stig
Photo shows a Go150A (possible Stkz of KB+KH) of the LDKdo - Holland on the beach at Vieland the next day of 27th Aug 1940 that the Hampden P4324 changed ownership. As far as I know I have a complete W/Nr production range suggesting at least 31 aircraft. I am intrigued to discover which internet site gives 21 civil regs. Is this the Histavion site? |

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
This is Battle L5242 QT-_ of 142 Sqn, one of five abandoned at Berry-au-Bac c 16 May 40 after being damaged a few days earlier.
I don't think the individual code letter has ever come to light - anyone? |

Thanks Ed.
Despite the seller's captions, 3 and 4 are Belgian Fairey Fox. |

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
At first I thought that #3 was Battle L5502/QT-D, a well-photographed machine:
https://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Fairey-B...0-ebay-01.html But it clearly isn't, as the fin flash and positioning of the code are different. Any offers for this one please? |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
I have it penciled in as QT-D K9367.

Thank you. I thought the top gunner's enclosure did not look like a British aircraft.

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Item 6 is a postwar French built Stampe SV-4C
If you look at the tail you will see the name of the manufacturer, more commonly referred to as Nord. Cheers Stig |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Any offers for the serial of Item 5 please?
A 53 Sqn Blenheim coded PZ-Y. Serial begins R37__. Thanks, Andy |

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Two more great selections from Ed West (both 7-11-2022).
In the first, Blenheim PZ-Y is R3735, damaged at Coulommiers sometime between May 20-28, 1940. The Battle 'B' is, I believe, L5234 PM-B of 103 Squadron which crashed on take-off 16 May 1940. I base this on other photos which show matching marks, especially that bullet hole (?) under the right-hand corner of the 'B'. Regards, Martin Gleeson. |
