Wrecked Bf 109 G-6's of 11./JG 3 found by advancing US troops after 31 August at Senon, some 20 km north-east of Verdun, France.

Funny Wn is ..6/7/8/9, or 6785, but lead to nothing interesting even 16785 is not a valid Wn for an 109, could be 166785 produced in sommer 44

Hello Gents,
Some Bf109s aircraft found at Zellhausen and/or Babenhausen (and why not Nidda, too) May 1945.
Including: Known “Schwarze 16”, one “Weisse 16” which can be a III./JG53 machine, a Stab I./JG4 “Winkel Dreieck Schwarze 2” (without fuselage black cross) and a Bf 109 K-4 !

... Now it's definitely clear ! JG301 inverted (sic) RV band from ex JG11 machines ... and we got the emblem! WOW, what a day.

...and the fuselage band is red/yellow (just as the chevron 4 in post#2611), not yellow/red as usual.

Nice view! Visible is W.Nr., color JG bands on the fuselage, emblem JG 11, inscription on the fuselage, and all this after the war. Rare!
