Good afternoon Dénes,
thanks for the interesting table. I assume all claims by Bf109 pilots belong to the 'Fighter and fighter bomber' category ? Cheers, Michael |
Re: Forgotten Heroes - Aces of the Royal Hungarian Air Force in WWII (second revised, expanded edition)
Hi Knusel, no, Hungarian fighter and fighter-bomber pilots flew several aircraft types, not only the Bf 109G; from the FIAT CR.32 to the Fw 190F.
If you are interested in more details, I suggest you to open a new thread, in the Axis section, so not to overload this one. |
Re: Forgotten Heroes - Aces of the Royal Hungarian Air Force in WWII (second revised, expanded edition)
Good evening Dénes,
OK. I'm trying to find out what is the overall number of Bf109 kills, you know. I think the Hungarians contributed about 560 to that total. I still have the OSPREY volume about the Hungarian aces in my book shelf but no time to read it. Work sucks. I wish you a good start into the weekend, sincerely, Michael |
