Egbert, new information may yet appear in Findbuch 12452 - Oberkommando der Luftwaffe (OKL). It is slowly appearing on the website, again:

Guys,

New Findbuch on GermanDocs - Findbuch 12477 - Infanterie- und Sicherungsdivisionen der Wehrmacht, 1934-1945

Not sure if there will be anything Luftwaffe related hidden therein.

Item 453 is about air supply to Breslau in April 1945, however.

The attached telegram for example mentions an emergency landing by Fw 190 "white 14" of 2./SG 77 on Breslau's "Platz 10" on 22 April.

Re: German docs in TSAMO

Dear all,

Glad to note that the Heeresgruppe Mitte files are back online. I have gone through much of the material but failed to find any Daily Reports for October 1943 and further on -I had hoped these would be also put online by the excellent people at TsAMO as these records will contain Luftflotte 6 reports on the employment-results-losses of the Nachtjäger in the Central sector of the Eastern Front during the final three months of 1943 and for 1944. Could anyone advise me if these files are available at all at TsAMO, and if so, when these will be put online?

Cheers and thanks for any news on this matter, which will be crucially important for my further research on the Nachtjagd on the Eastern Front for one of the coming volumes in the Nachtjagd Combat Archive series.

Junker,

Many thanks for the heads-up on this.

If anyone downloaded the torrent for this a while ago there are several Kriegsmarine files on the TSAMO pages that are not included in the torrent e.g. Akte 1, 2, 4,5, 8, 10,....98, 100 and 101 etc.

A nice gem in the Kriegsmarine dossier among others, a victory claim submitted by a BV 138 pilot from 3./SAGr.125 against a VVS DB-3 over the Black Sea.

Hello Michael,

According to KTB Deutschen Marinekommandos Konstantza, should be find out, whether the plane shot down by Dumitrescu and by BV138 is the same aircraft [it was the same Il-4 indeed]

I don't think anyone has posted this little gem so far:

Goebbels personal letter to Hans-Ulrich Rudel's concering the latters' request to return to frontline action.

Thank you!

The document was found out on the battlefield not later than 19.Apr.45 in the sector of 1.Byelorussian Front.
I wonder where it exactly was.
By the way, the author isn't Goebbels but A.Fuhr.

Best regards,
Andrey

Re: German docs in TSAMO

Thanks for pointing that one out. Something else on the reel of possible interest—although off-topic for TOCH—is the list (starting at frame 245) of men posted missing from SS-Panzergrenadier Ausbildung und Ersatz Bataillon 16 during the Battle of Arnhem.

Also in the OKH files, item 441 is a set of graphs about the Romanian air defences (Flak and fighters), plus data on the production and delivery of Bf 109 G-6.

Thanks Mihal,

Looking at Akte 198 in that series, there's a lot there about aircraft production and repair in the occupied territories.

Thank you, Andrey! I am just now finishing Akten 1 - 80 of Findbuch 12476, which is full of officers belonging to Gen.Kdo. I. Flakkorps and its subordinate units April 1942 to September 1944, and so far I have extracted 1,744 names with their assignments. So your Akte 201/12463 will be a welcome addition to these. It's exactly what we are looking for!

Hello

Findbuch 12473 - AOK 11-25 is available now

Some interesting information. Mention of 15 claims in a day by Ltn. August Lambert of II./S.G. 2

Note that the daily total of claims is almost twice more than in Tony Wood's claim lists

Only 46 pages and no German title but there are some interesting items in Дело 290 which seems to relate to German liaison with the Allied and Russian authorities right after the surrender, covering Schleswig-Holstein, Denmark and Norway. Two sample pages attached.

I've just posted cleaned-up versions of the two attachments and you'll see that in Luftgau XI they say there were 46 x He 219 surrendered to the Allies plus another 8 in Denmark.

Something tells me that "46" is a typo, maybe for 16, but I leave that to the experts.
