Re: eBay: Allied intrest
You complete and utter plank.
I have already posted these photos at http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...t=59103&page=2 How much effort would it haven taken for you to look. Once again this is not the first time this has happened Moron. |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Again I ask -
Who do you think you are to address other members in the Manor that you have done recently ? Terms such as "You complete and utter plank" are not acceptable I am sure by many of the members on this forum. I am at this time also disappointed with the moderators who have let this go as well as other remarks you have used in other posts recently to fellow members. I feel that they should have taken action by now . |

check this topic - we discussed there in year 2016 the photos: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...ne+France+1940 Only 3 Masters was lost in France 1940: Master N7545 is clear with visible serial number Then we have N7577 or N7578 - sadly I lost my archive, but as I remember, this split was done based on the airfield, when this wreck was photographed. Faenor |
Re: eBay: Allied intrest
The problem with that Faenor is that British records state that N7578 was abandoned by 607Sq
at Norrent-Fontes. Back in 2016 Bertrand stated the given text on one of the backsides was Auchy-au-Bois and also stated that place was very close to Norrent-Fontes/Rely. I have never found Bertrand to be wrong and I think he read the text correct. To be honest scrapyards have never been my 'tour-de-force' and personally you can have these remains listed as what you prefer yourself :) I don't mind. :) Cheers Stig |

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Or 12 Sqn. PH-F ? looks more like "M" I think though.

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Good spot. I think we are looking at P2332/PH-F, lost on 12 May 1940.
Here is another photo, before the fence posts were removed: https://www.backtonormandy.org/the-h...940-05-11.html The three crew were taken POW. More details at: https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/89795 |

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
The proximity to buildings help to identify the Battle shown in #1.
It is K9390/JN-I of 150 Sqn, lost on 10 May 1940. Summary at: https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/17587 |

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Thanks Ed, some interesting ones there.
#2 looks like Battle K7696/QT-I of 142 Sqn, lost on 19 May 1940. All three crew POW. Most photos show it considerably later, with more bits missing. Has anyone ever seen a photo where the code and serial are both clealry visible, as I like to keep a note of such things. There are some photos at: https://aircrewremembered.com/taylor...-hamilton.html which are almost good enough.... #4 N3200 is now of course flying as G-CFGJ (or rather an aircraft with a few bits from this one is now flying) #6 is I think actually white 39. I'm not sure it has ever been identfied - anyone? |
