This is of a French aircraft that has "invasion " style fuselage stripes. The stripes were Red and White if I recall correctly?

Yes red and white stripes, meaning a target tug plane (in this case a Bloch MB131).

No it is not.
There are a bunch of photos of these oddly marked early Bf 109s (B - D model)
There were at least three painted like this.
On some of them you can see other German aircraft (Ju 87 for example).
They all carry fictitious markings, all seemingly beginning with E1+ plus the last two
different.

This is two Yak-18s registered in East Germany between 1957-1959
Can't be more precise without the last letter in their registration.
