Re: KG 40 Combat History
That's great news!
Thank you for all the hard work in getting this from desk top to press to print. Edward |
Re: KG 40 Combat History
As the book is so big, there are bound to be errors (not deliberate!) hence I intend producing an errata list on 12 OCH in due course

Re: KG 40 Combat History
Ordered an example via the Aviation Megastore in the Netherlands. I am surprised it is already available there. I am especially interested in the Soesterberg period of KG 40.

Re: KG 40 Combat History
My copies arrived today and will admit the quality of printing looks good.

Re: KG 40 Combat History
Glad everyone is enjoying the book! It's selling super fast, over half of the print run in a week so don't sleep on this, get your order in!

Re: KG 40 Combat History
I am just about to order it.
However, I am always a bit bemused that when postage charges are added, it is always cheaper to buy a Chandos book from a bookseller rather than direct. As these sellers are presumably taking a cut of the purchase price, surely you would sell more yourself by doing free postage, or at least matching the £2.50/£2.99 that others charge. Or am I missing something? |
Re: KG 40 Combat History
My copy of Chris Goss' wonderful new book, KG 40: The Luftwaffe's Multi-Roll Strike Wing, 1940-1045 arrived today in south Georgia, USA (near Savannah).
Kudos to Mr. Goss and Chandos Publications for bringing this new history to a wide audience. The book arrived in perfect condition (even the corners!) due to excellent packaging - it was double-boxed and within a plastic bag. Thanks to Royal Mail and USPS for the prompt delivery. Looking forward to begin reading it tonight. Edward |
