Re. #3814, same still captured on my display looks yellow; comparing skin tones between the two version, I consider it yellow, though leave it to readers to decide.

Here's Me 262 "29" cleaned up a little. Near the leading edge of the fin, just above the tailplane, it seems to have one of these mysterious markings seen on the nacelles and fuselages of some 262s. In this case it looks like either 4/1 or 4/9 with the first digit in superscript and the second in subscript.

This is Bf 109 G-6 (WNr. UNK), 877+ red, found abandoned at an unknown location. Interestingly, along with the heavier old-style canopy, this aircraft lacks the forward “G” spark plug cowling vent. Also, the starter crank visible in this photo didn’t last long; it is missing in other photos of this aircraft. Respectfully, Steve Sheflin |
