Major Wilhelm Balthasar JG2
Hello ,
Major Wilhelm Balthasar Kommodore off JG 2 was killed on july 3th 1941 near St-Omer France. He was buried near his father on a WW1 cemetery in Flanders Belgium. Can someone tells me on wich cemetery ? |

According to www.volksbund.de, Wilhelm Balthasar is buried at Illiers/Nord, block No. 2, grave No. 78. Illiers is not far away from the Belgian border, but still in France, I am afraid... Ota |

His father was Hptm August Balthasar, killed 25 Oct 14 and buried in the same cemetery as Hptm Wilhelm Balthasar

Can somebody tell me more about his claim of the 13 of May 1940 above Belgium. It seems to be a Hurricane but from which Squadron and which pilot? Thanks. Alexander |
