I read 2 nd pic vdm that would mean something with the proppeler i think

Is there any chance you can post another photo of the Typenschild without the offending tube in the way, or perhaps a transcription of the text?

Is it 10 centimeters long or 100? Why would anyone not put scale in photographs like these???

Seriously.

Why are we still struggling with this incredibly simple concept? Are rulers exotic commodities in certain parts of the Europe?

Add scale to your ID photographs. It really helps.

Your Typenschild is from an unknown component made by a VDM sub-contractor:
Maschinenfabrik Otto Pieron, Berlin W 15, Uhlandstr. 175 [b], Hersteller code = dsy.

Scale is pretty obvious in this case, based on the connections and data plate dimensions...so do not waste your time taking photos with a ruler.

It has both air and oil lines...so for sure engine related. Sadly, it is not in the master FL. list...so I cannot give you more than that.

I can tell you for sure it is not Me109 or Fw190.

No. That's bad advice. harrison987's advice is misguided and ill-advised.

INCLUDE SCALE IN EVERY PART IDENTIFICATION PHOTOGRAPH. REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT IS.

Including scale is a fundamental photo skill and photo practice in EVERY scientific discipline. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

People who don't include scale in their photos reveal themselves to be amateurs at best, and jesters at worst.
