Hello,
The third Me109 with the Stkz CE+BM seems to be a BFW built E-3 with the WNr.1952. It was an ex-Messerschmitt factory test aircraft (according to the first two letters of the Stkz - CE was assigned to Messerschmitt). According to the photo, it looks like that airframe served later in a Jagdfliegerschule. best regards, Tomislav |

I wonder why there are SO MANY photographs of shot down Fairy Battles. They must have taken a pasting in 1940 - or did every other German soldier have a camera ??

Thank you for your comments. I have seen photos where aircraft are shown with another person taking a photo from a different angle. The aircraft photos on German eBay are a small fraction of the total posted every day. It is my opinion that significant vehicles, men and equipment have all been photographed. This leads to the conclusion that many soldiers had cameras. Not to mention the kriegsberichters or war reporters who were also taking photos.
I have seen numerous photos of Eban Emal, Maginot Line, tanks, including rare types, rocket launchers (nebelwerfer), small wire guided explosive carriers (Goliath), numerous types of pillboxes, camouflage uniforms, including camo face covers (tarnmasken), V-2's, V-1's, including the Reichenberg. I think one could assemble a new book about Crete (Kreta) every other month. And Russian equipment. The list is almost endless. Ed |

The Stab marking (arrow-like chevron) on http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6169615779 of II./JG 54 is very unusual.If the emblem on "Yellow 1" http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6169597975 is a Mickey Mouse it must be the mount of Hans Schmoller-Haldy of 3./JG 54.

"Oh boy oh boy ..." --- he is an intelligent boy. You have a much more hits with the words "Me 109" and ""Fw 190". If I sale my Ju W34 -, He 51 - or Bf 108 - pics I would use the same words although I know that's wrong. :D Best wishes Rasmussen |
