What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?
Hi guys,
trying to confrim the VDM number for both the early and late style Me109 props... As far as I know F-1, F-2 = 9-11207 F-4 = 9-12010 G = 9-12159A OR 9-12087A K = 9-12159A I have found a prop recently, but I was told the number is 9-12159 10. I looked at the pic, and it could be "A0" at the end...just have no experience with this last digit. Thoughts? mike |

I have one somewhere from an E. As I recall, the number is 9-110something/something but I will check.

Re: What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?
Just to add a bit more detail for those interested, the blade for the Me 110 (C variants) is 9-11073.10
I am sure I have seen a reference somewhere to the .10 suffix (as per the first post in this thread) to the number as denoting a twin engine fit, but do not know why it would be important to signify this? |
Re: What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?
Hi Guys,
I found a 109 blade which still had the original stencilling. On the BASE, it has the 9-12159 10 number. So...is it possible all 109 blades has this "10" suffix? mike |
Re: What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?
Possibly so, but if so then the .10 suffix is not exclusive to the Me 109 blade.

Re: What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?
Numbers such as: 9-12087.10 are blade part numbers.
A blade with the number 9-12159.10 is from a 109G/K with GM1 or an AS or MW. HTH |
Re: What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?

As you can see the flugel is the blade and note the dot with that
Flugzeugmuster Do17E & Do17F Motormuster BMW 6D Luftschrauben gerat nr 9-11015 A Flugel 9-11015.10 9-11015.11 Nabe 9-11014.24 9-11014.23 9-11014.20 Haube 9-11015.30 Flugellager 9-11012.40 Verstellgetriebe 9-11014.56 9-11014.54 9-11014.52 Motorgetriebe 9-11014.62 9-11014.60 Nabenbefestigung 9-11015.70 Sonderwerkzeug 9-11015.90 |
Re: What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?
Maybe we misunderstand each other?
The .10's are blade sub types, the .20's are hub sub types, .30's are spinner sub types etc.... So, the 9-12159A Gerat is fitted with 9-12159.10 blades (this is the only blade listed). However, the Nabe could be a 9-12040.22 or a .21 as both types are listed. HTH |
Re: What is the correct VDM number for the Me109 Props?
I agree, blades 9-12159.10 is from Bf 109G/K + GM1
