If correct, both pictures hereunder, shot in Antwerp should be taken after the Air strike against Erla Werk Antwerpen/Mortsel. Planes could also be of the Industrie Schutz Staffel stationed at Deurne Airport, reporting IIRC to JG 1 stationed at Woensdrecht

Just spent 15 minutes trying to find my copy of BofFT&N without success! Somewhere in the house. Anyone help with there version - what happened on 11-06-40 (11th June). regards Mark |

Failed to return following attack on Hs126 over Dieppe and force landed in France 2.00pm. Sgt Jones believed captured. Aircraft GZ-X lost. Guess he had fuel/glycol/engine damage. Interestingly a wheels down landing and the aircraft was not destroyed. regards MS |
