Spotted by LEMB member before, many of these are stated taken at Brandis (those showing Me 163, He 177 and Ju 88. Possibly one Hs 130 can be seen burnt out in background of one image).

Hello,

While the photos of the links show Me 163 V13 I have uploaded a photo of Me 163 V10 found at Brandis at BattleGroundRelics.

John - that would seem to be one early record in the life of the A-7 as a couple of GI's and multiple .50 cal holes would place the damage as something other than technical failure and into March/April 1945?

Well, note that the listing is 60% in Feb '44. Perhaps it was never repaired? In any event many of the "holes" look like square or triangular holes which I do not think .50 cal or other cal could make. Looks like a lot of post-discovery G.I. damage to me.

I would like to add that the marking are not standard for aircraft in this series. They are from a later period. So it seems that it was repaired, even though it was 60% damaged. The white outline swastika (H4) appears a lot on repaired aircraft, perhaps replacement tail sections were delivered as such?
