Ed,

How do you connect these to specific offerings?

Hello!

In this sale:
http://www.historical-media.com/id108_b.htm

in one of the albums is this page:
http://www.historical-media.com/imag...B/DSC09170.JPG

At the "An meine Kriegzeit" page linked above colours used for the text lines seem to be the Staffel colours. White for the 1./Jagdgescwader "Udet" and 1./Jagdgescwader "Mölders" and yellow for the 3.(F)/Aufkl.Gr. 121.

But did 4./Jagdgescwader "Udet" (JG 3) use green for Staffel colour as the album author seems to suggest? Period seems to be from October 1944 to February 1945 when I/JG3 had four Staffeln. 4./JG 3 was disbanded 19.2.45.

Asking just for the curiousity.

Cheers,
Kari

Richard,

I don't think I understand your question.

Why do I get the feeling I have seen some of these on ebay before?

Hi Modeldad,

1/ Because Goran had already given one of the upper links one or two months ago.
2/ Because once one page opened you where smart enough to go to the main page and find others!!!!

Me too! I was almost ready to say "Already published"... But some given by Ed are quite interesting.
Cheers,
Franck.

Dear Ed,

Don may have provided the answer. I was just trying to figure out how one could buy the photos you show. Seeing them and being able to offer money for them are 2 different things.

Richard

Dear Richard,

I guess I'm having one of those days when the thought processes do not work as clearly as they should. And I am so used to simply offering links I forgot that some here might actually want to buy something.

Ed

Dear Ed,

Yes, sometimes I get the urge to buy. I can't say, though, that the Me 262 photo was anything outstanding. And, unfortunately, there is that blasted watermarking that detracts from its value as an historical reference grabbed from the site as-is. As for the location, Dan, I would think far more likely this Me 262 was to be found along the Autobahn, likely at Sheppach, rather than at Kahla. Slip of the mind, old buddy?

Regards,
Richard

Hello All,

Very similar picture - area, trees background, ground - with some W.Nr.112334 taken at Sheppach, no?
Cheers,
Franck.
