Hi Mod's , etc..

I have myself experienced photo upload issues, and see from other threads that other have issues as well.

Is there a board issue?

or is my operating system not compatable ? ( win XP)

Hi Jerry,

I too have recently experienced problems when trying to upload photos on the Toch forum.
Windows XP on my computer, but I wonder if it is the true reason of checking the upload?
Does somebody knows?

Same with me - most annoying as I love to help fellow members but at the moment I cannot share photos with any of you!

The value of the excellent asset which this forum is is certainly impaired by the apparent inability, currently, to post images here.

Hopefully it is something that Ruy can address in due course but it would certainly be helpful to know whether this is just a temporary problem. Several times in recent weeks I have attempted to upload pictures and it is frustrating to get a message on each occasion stating the upload has failed. Has the facility simply been removed, or is it an unresolved technical problem?

Persistent problem with "Manage attachments" tool... still unable to upload photos with this error message: Unable to move/copy file.
Any solution?

Have tried again to upload photographs this morning without success. A great shame that it is currently impossible.

Posting photographs for comment, and viewing others, has been a significant part of the value of this site for me.

Some comment from the mods would certainly be helpful.

Hi all.

Thanks John for drawing my attention to this thread.

Can't say what is causing this, might be caused by some server migration at Strato, as TOCH is run on a shared server. A couple of weeks ago they changed something that screwed up my access to certain directories, so I wouldn't be surprised if something like that is happening again.

I'll try to dig into this tomorrow morning. There are a couple of possibilities and there is a workaround that I may consider that will impact the whole upload arrangement anyway,

Running ahead of myself.

No biggie, it looks like Strato pulled a small unannounced migration.

Some settings were pointing in the wrong direction so the temporary file could not be saved causing this error.
