Original FW190 and 109 plans

Do you have copies of Focke Wulf 190 or Me 109 factory drawings. Would you be prepared to swap on a 1 to 1 basis. I have over 400 Focke Wulf 190 and a handful of Me 109 factory drawings.

Re: Original FW190 and 109 plans

Hello Liam!

I'm a 3D modeler looking for manufacturing blueprints of the Bf-109 E-3 because I want to make a highly detailed version of it.

Do you have such a blueprint?? If so, can I buy a copy of it from you??

Hope to hear from you

Regards Henrik Frederiksen

Hi Liam

Thanks for the blueprints of the Rumpf on the Bf-109 E-3. I am now following a lead for the other blueprints, and the lead has guided me to an aviation museum in Schwitzerland.

I have written them an e-mail and I'm currently waiting for a response. If they send me any blueprints they will offcource be shared :-)

Best regards and a merry Christmas

Henrik

Thanks Paul

I have bought some of Hafners manuals in the past. Nicely bound but can be a bit expensive.

Please post a personal message to grab my attention as sometimes I forget to check this posting.

Also if anyone has any contacts who would be prepared to help locate original plans at NARA I would to hear from you.

Henrik, had any luck with the Swiss museum yet?

Re: Original FW190 and 109 plans

Hello Skyraider3D

I have been contacted by the museum in Schwitzerland and they have confirmed, that they have all the manufacturing plans for the Bf-109 E.

They however do not have the manpower to sort the many blueprints and the collection is therefore archived for the moment. They have asked me to come and help if I wanted, but unfortunately going to Schwitzerland is a bit to far for me.

So if anyone is up for it the plans are available...

The museum is called "Flieger-Flab-Museum" and here is a link to its homepage: http://www.airforcecenter.ch/navy/mainnav.php?langy=d

The museum has a rather nice collection of airplanes including a Bf-109 E.

Hi all, I don't know if this is the right place to post this. But, I have a complete set of Curtiss P-40 factory drawings 6,000+ that I am willing to trade for any other aircraft drawings/plans. :)

in the meantime, the Swiss Museum is NOT accepting any help anymore from "strangers". They had some bad experiences.
I just bought the "update" of the few copies that Peter Ewbank from NZ is selling on eBay and this update contains dxf files of the aft-fuselage. As I can see from the titleblock, the origin of the files must be a Romanian guy.
I did compare the sections with the copies of the original plans I can consult and they match 99.9%!
A bit expensive but can't find anything else anywhere for less, not even for more!
It seems this is the first of a series that will be listed for sale. Hope the tail will be covered next....

Re: Bf 109 Plans

The Rumpf plans in CAD are more than 99.9% accurate. They will fit perfectly with original parts - that is the purpose of doing them. For reasons of confidentiality, I can not declare who has done the CAD work, but I can state categorically, that they have not been produced in Rumania. I am hoping to have new material to release in addition to the Rumpf - the tail is in progress. My main concern at the moment is the various engine cowlings for types E through to G, instrument panels and fittings like the seat (s) etc.

I believe that there are some members who have a genuine need for this information and so I am trusting that the administrators of this forum will not regard the link below as spam.

Flugwerk GmbH has been kind enough to help with a major update (July 2009) of the Bf 109 plans set by supplying Bf 109 E blueprints. Bf 109 F, G and K also available in the same set.

The Fw 190 set also includes D version and Ta 152 C, E and H versions.

F4U Corsair set is worth a look too.
