Born in Dresden on the 02/06/15 (according to VM)

You should have those biography details as you made the research nearly 10 years ago?
I am quite 'puzzled' by Sickert's fate and 'recovery' to say the last. I am wondering what pieces of ID you found about him (his EM as 69453/70 for instance?) as he was officially buried in Lommel?

To follow up on an old post. Oblt. Sickert is buried at Lommel Block 57, Grave 4. He was shot down on October 3rd, 1944 (The date on the VLM is wrong and was later corrected by II./JG 11). Oblt. Sickert was a long time pilot of KG 1 and transferred as many bomber pilots to fighters in 1944.
