Seeking missing page in Stab I./JG2, Lt. Paul Temme's FB
 

Hello,

We have the FB of this pilot in our "Eagles Over Europe" FB collection, but it appears that I'm missing some pages--or perhaps a second FB starts--showing his missions and a/c from 21.5.40 until he was SD and captured in Britain on 13.8.40, as Adj of I./JG2. Does anyone have any of that missing information from his career?

If anyone would have had it it would have been the late Michael Payne & it is not in his collection

flights 1-495 9/6/40-5/3/41

flights 496-1237 6/3/41 - 24/9/41

How does this compare with what you have

Is this the same Oblt. Paul Temme who was captured as a POW 13/Aug/40?

I think your FB Paul Temme is the same as mine (dates line up) but you have his earlier FB, so can't be the one Clint is after if he was captured in 8/40.

Also Clint if your Fb parts agree with any parts of ours you also do not have the Fb for the Paul Temme that interests you

Gentlemen,

There must be two Paul Temmes. The one that I'm looking for (and Clint too) was the Adjutant of I./JG2, whose Bf109E was shot down and he became a POW. He FL along the railroad line at Shoreham Airport, England, on 13.08.40. So can't be the same pilot.

I'm looking for the pilot who became the PoW.

Do either of you have FB from the combat personnel from the 1939-40 period that you'd be willing to trade or share?

If you mean the 13 Aug 40 Temme, he died many years ago
