Jean Dugoujon
Hello there,
can anybody tell me the decimals of Jean Dugoujon's last 5 kills ? Cheers, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good afternoon,
the search for Jean Dugoujon's total remains frustrating. This site http://bibert.fr/Joseph_Bibert_fichiers/Victoires.htm indicates a total of six WW2 kills including 1 Battle of France kill. How many of them were shared ? Michael |

thanks for your post. Is this the complete WW2 kill list of Jean Dugoujon ? Kind regards, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Yes-no other victories after 06/1940
total=4 "sures"+3 prob. |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good morning Michel,
thanks for you answer. It seems many scores reported in the WWW are wrong. For example the one mentioned in post 2 and also this one http://www.aces.safarikovi.org/victo...rance-ww2.html Cheers, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Hello Michael.
Sorry to not anwsered you, about your private message, that I have seen only today. I was in the dead line of my last issue of my magazine (AceS) and after holidays. I agree with you some links about French aces are not serious as Ciel de Gloire for example. Have a nice afternoon. |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good morning Many,
at cieldegloire I find some kill lists and info that I don't find anywhere else. It also has an appealing design. That's why I like it. Jean Dugoujon isn't an ace, even if his shared kills are counted as full kills, is he ? I've already started reading French airwar magazines which are better than those available in Germany. Which aces will your new issue be about ? I wish you a good success with it, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Thank you very much Michael for your support
The next issue of AceS (n°8, tomorrow) is with Heinz Bär, René Fonck (WWI) and "Cobber" Kain the first ace of the RAF but also of the Allies. Thank you again. |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Wow, these are three real heavyweights !
Bär is one of my all-time favourites, I also like Fonck although he's rather unpopular, Kain narrowly misses the Hurricane aces top ten. I must have this issue ! Could you post a link or name a contact person from whom I can purchase it ? |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Hello Michael
For me too, Heinz Bär is one my favourites. and the article of Jan Bobek about him is excellellent, really. You cand find this issue of AceS at this link below. http://https://www.editions-heimdal....1-aces-n8.html Thank you very much. |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
or this one https://www.editions-heimdal.fr/fr/78-aces
|
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good morning Many,
from my computer your links don't work. I've found this one in the web https://www.editions-heimdal.fr/en/78-aces and wrote an eMail to your colleagues asking if they can send it to Germany. I wish you a very good Sunday, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Hello Michael.
Sorry for my links... You Can with this Link but and receive in Germany AceS. Have a nice Sunday. |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good morning Many,
I've created an account on the English website. It was a little bit complicated to prove that I'm no robot but I think I've made it. I will pay via international bank transfer as soon as I'm at home. With best wishes from Brandenburg, Germany, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good evening Michael.
It's a good news Thank you. Have a nice evening. |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good afternoon,
...I'll remove Jean Dugoujon from my list of French decimal score aces: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=45192 Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
You can also remove Henri Dietrich who is not an "ace".
4 "sures" + 1 prob. 16/05/40=one He.111 prob. 05/06/40=one He.111 sur 05/06/40=one He.111 sur 05/06/40=one Bf.109 sur 05/06/40=one Bf.109 sur Michel |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good morning Michel,
sacre bleu...I though he was the second Bloch ace :-( This leaves only Thollon as sole pilot who has scored five or more times in the Bloch MB.152 (shared kills counted as decimals). Kind regards, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good evening Michel,
I only find Henri Dietrich with 5 kills: http://cieldegloire.fr/as_39_45_allies_liste_france.php http://www.aces.safarikovi.org/victo...rance-ww2.html http://www.igleize.fr/aces/ww2fra.htm That is also his score in the official list of French aces by the Service Historique de l'Armée the l'Air. Was his first claim maybe upgraded later ? Cheers, Michael |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Maybe in the list of Service Historique de l'Armee de l'air....but this not the case for the History of the GCII/10 available at Vincennes.
Besides in this list,there are other scores wich don't "Match" Ex.Closterman and his "famous" 23 vict. other ex. Rene Roger=5 vict...no,only 4 (historique of GCIII/3) 2+2 shared 13/05/40=Bf.109 13/05/40=Bf.109 19/05/40=Bf.109 shared (1/3) 20/05/40=He.111 shared (1/2) Michel |
Re: Jean Dugoujon
Good evening Michel,
Clostermann gained officialdom for his 19+14sh kills by getting a document about these signed by Marshal Broadhurst. The Service Historique de l'Armée the l'Air took that at face value an granted him 33 in their list. But it was dissolved some time ago, wasn't it ? They should re-establish that committee with the likes of you, Many Souffan, David Méchin and other experts. I wish you a good start into the weekend, in Switzerland next Monday is a holiday, too, Michael |
