If 923 is the last numbers of the WNr, would be from one of these block numbers.

210 901 - 210 999 Focke-Wulf, Cottbus
211 901 - 211 950 Focke-Wulf, Cottbus
601 961 - 601 980 Fieseler, Kassel

Considering the solid one color camo and the black paint around the exhaust it looks like an early bird.

Text on the back of the photo reads: "I/45, in ?????, Jäger überrennt mein Auto"
"January 45, at ????, fighter runs over my car."

As for the location I would risk "I/45, In Sorau"

Cheers

About halfway this old thread you can find a highly likely month-by-month WNr block "spread" of the five Focke-Wulf D-9 production batches:

With this information plus the date Jan/1945, I would say 211923.

One interesting thing is that the 9 is a bit bigger than the 23, but some W.Nr.s is paunted the same way, with the first number also bigger.

Re: A rare view of a Fw 190 D9

Versuchsmuster of the Fw 190A had the last digits of their Werknummer painted big on their engine cowlings.
Could it be this Fw 190D is a Focke-Wulf Versuchsmuster, too, with the last digits of its Werknummer painted small, as it used to be in late war with most codes and numbers?
The other possibility might be a substitute for the omitted StKz.

Such a cool photo Remi!

It really could be 211923 from 3rd batch made in Sorau.

There are few known photos of it's sister 211925 "Blau 1+-" of 8./JG 6 and that mount for shows same features:
- black paint around the exhausts
- quite dark uniformly painted nose/fuselage
- same type of nose MGs' cover
- blown canopy

Unfortunately that machine doesn't have 925 applied to it's nose.
And I cannot distinguish if the wings' undersurfaces are NMF too or not? There seem to be something odd to it's underwing cross but I am not able to judge it well because it's so close to the edge of the photo (so it's better to ignore this comment).
