Kampfgeschwader 30 Signatures
I am currently researching two Soldbucher from former members of Kampfgeschwader 30, and am having difficulty in putting names to signatures.
They both served primarily within I./Kampfgeschwader 30 however, they both also spent time in IV./Kampfgeschwader 30 also. There are several signatures which I need help with, and I shall post them piece by piece, starting with the attached from Page 3 of one of the Soldbucher which all relate to 2./KG 30 and Stab KG 30. As always any help whatsoever will be very well received. Regards Richard. |

Many thanks indeed for your help with this, both on this thread and via PM. Using Larry & Doug's Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries; With regards to entries No 2 & No 3; The only Stahl I can find that 'might' be match is below however, there is no info for the time period of July-1941 but he is the only KG 30 Oblt. that I can find. STAHL, Alfons. (DOB: 09.09.16). 17.01.43 Hptm., appt Staka 11./KG 30 (to 04.06.43?). 04.06.43 Oblt., 8./KG 30 MIA - Ju 88 A-4 (4D+ES) lost vic Algiers to unknown cause. For entry No 4, your suggestion of v. Goldacker is spot on! GOLDACKER, Joachim von. (DOB: 23.08.11). 1941 trf to I./KG 30. 1941 trf to 10./KG 30. 1942 trf to 1./KG 30. 1942 appt Staka 2./KG 30. 01.04.43 in IV./KG 30, promo to Hptm. 09.08.43 Hptm., awarded Ehrenpokal. 17.09.43 Hptm. and Staka 2./KG 30. 1944 appt flight instructor with LKS 3. 1945 appt Stafü 1./NSGr. 30. For entry No 5, rather than Resinger, how about Reisiger which I think is the man in question? REISIGER, Rudolf. 1940 with 2./KG 30. 20.10.41 Lt, awarded the Ehrenpokal. IV./KG 30. 01.01.44 promo to Hptm. Thanks again lilsis, it is much appreciated. Can anyone add anything else, or confirm the above? All help will be gratefully recieved. Regards Richard. |

Kampfgeschwader 30 Signatures
This is the last one from the first of the two KG 30 Soldbucher, and I will be amazed if a name can be derived from this!
Buried among the attached are 2 signatures, dated October-1943 the original holder transferred from 11./Kampfgeschwader 30 to 12./Kampfgeschwader 30 at this time. Any help will be gratefully received. Regards Richard. |
Kampfgeschwader 30 Signatures
Now some signatures which need a name from the second KG 30 Soldbuch, unfortunately this Soldbuch is in extremely worn and fragile condition and has suffered from water damage at some point.
That said, hopefully someone might be able to help even with the poor state of some of the signatures. As always, any help is well recieved. Regards Richard. First one is a Leutnant from Stabschwarm Kampfgeschwader 30 dated 01-October-1942. I appreciate that this might be nigh on impossible however, I am hoping that someone can read the signature. |

Are you sure on this? The attached is the one which you indicated is v. Harnier and it looks nothing like the last example I posted. Both signatures are radically different?!? Regards Richard. |
Kampfgeschwader 30 Signatures
Time to clean this thread up a little I think.
Pleased to be able to say that the signature in Post Nr. 2 has been positively identified, and cross referred to documents and signed photographs, as RKT Hauptmann Konrad Kahl. I wil re-post examples of the signatures still to identify later this evening. A massive thank you to all those who have offered help both on this thread and via PM. It really is much appreciated. Regards Richard. |
