It wasn't an G-14/AS but an normal G-14 ...

Where the plate was found?

What do you see, that this Bf109 no G14 AS was? Does the number block say even more?
The plate was found by Leipzig.

All clear ... correct: the number block say that isn't an G-14/AS (Erla delivered AS-machines in August/ September 1944) and ... it's an machine built but never delivered. At the end of war Erla registered these machines as "eingeflogen und abgestellt" ("test flown and parked").

Machines around that number found their way with I.JG5, in July 44, described as G-6 MW or G-6 AS MW, lot of , a dozen given as G-6...

Misson Impossible ... machines around that number were produced in Februar/March 1945 (like on the plate documented).

Sorry, I read 165883....in the high 4658.. range only one occurrence a 465896 flown by an "überführer Pilot" on march 45...
