The covered gun sights for the MG 81s? I've seen these in manuals, but don't recall seeing these often on in-service photos.

To spend such a fortune on that Picture and the others related to Baumbach and KG 30, one must have quite a lot on the Bank himself...Maybe it may be particular interest (relative member lost on THAT machine), who knows? It is indeed quite a lot...but do have seen some others like a Do 217 N or Do 17 Z-10 Kaus pictures sold for 800 Euros a piece...and normally rare pictures of Tigers I on Eastern or other Fronts to pass the 200 Euros mark too...Amazing....

Why does everyone worry about what others are paying for items at auction?

When it comes time to sell your items, I'd bet you all accept the highest offers as well.

Revi16 it is not the amount of money but for 1 i cant see the value. Normally when such a large amount is paid, it is very very rare. This, on first hand, isnt. So i could have missed something and i believe that is what most are wondering about, did i miss something? And of course anyone offering this picture will take the money and run.
